Two new scouts were registered to bring total membership to 24 scouts.

Ten Weblos cubs will crossover on May 2nd, bringing troop membership up to 34.

Troop 187 was named a "Quality Unit" and strips are available for scouts’ uniforms.

The scouts voted for a new neckerchief. Cost is $5.15 plus tax. A motion passed to purchase 40 neckerchiefs: scouts must purchase theirs while

Weblos Cubs will receive theirs at crossover.

Dick suggested we research a winter camping uniform that is warm, waterproof and looks appropriate. Discussion followed with no action.

Dick presented his guidelines for the Venture Patrol:

Conduct one skills instruction within the troop per month.

Perform two community service projects per year: one with the troop and one advanced service project as a patrol.

Plan, accomplish and report back three major adventure trips per year.

Attend Council Summer Camp.

Attend three troop outings per year.

Attend at least 50% of troop meetings.
